Spot Buyer Team Leader (ATL-1091)

Álláshirdetés leírása Our client - the leading global brewer and one of the world’s top five
consumer products companies - is looking for a colleague to Spot Buyer
Team Leader position.



Main tasks:

• Supervision of Spot Buy Procedure

- Analyzing requisition

- Searching for potential suppliers, either existing or new if needed

- Selection the supplier and determine PO terms and conditions

- Creating Purchase Orders in case needed

- Completing Freetext Requests/Orders to meet specific business
requests, and ensuring proper spend approvals and authorization
execution

- Makes sure that the overall Spot Buy Procedure flows without any major
roadblock, deviation, or compliancy issue, first point of escalation

- Examine any issue related to Spot Buy Procedure. Keeps track on
solving the problem, in case of need. Escalates the issue further.

- Actively looking for potential problems, risks, possibilities to
improve the process, suggesting solutions and after getting the new
solution authorized, implement it



• Manage Spot Buyer Team reporting to him/her

- Participate in selection when new person is recruited / promoted to Spot Buyer position

- Master User of all Spot Buying Procedure. Makes sure that all
newcomers are trained as necessary, actively coach all team members,
making sure maximum understanding and capability from them

- Organize regular and ad hoc follow ups. Actively seeks for Customer
feedback. In case of any Customer Complaint or any other notification of
underperformance identify the necessary correction steps and after
getting them approved, make sure the implementation.



• Leading and coaching Spot Buying Team in relevant area

- Monitors workload of people, works out suggestions and solution for
structural changes to be approved by Management. Makes sure people back
up in case of absent employee.

- Leads, coatches direct reports, identify training needs, gets involved
in daily work whenever it is needed in order to solve issues. First
step of escalation process

- In case of high sensitivity or importance he/ she gets involved in the
daily work or problem solving, takes ownership and ultimate
responsibility on all occurring issues happening in his/her area.
Jelentkezés feltételei Requirements:
- Fluent English knowledge, other language is advantage
- University degree preferably in economics or engineering
- 3-5 years general business experience preferably in multinational environment, in Procurement area
- Experience within supplier selection, negotiation and contacting area is necessary, preferably more than purchase order administration
- Procurement and analytical background
- Specific category knowledge (e.g. IT/None IT) would be in favor to give tactical sourcing support
- Good Computer skills: MS Office and ERP (SAP) or other e-Requisitioning tools essential
- High level of service mindset
- Highly results focused with respect of performance, quality and timing
- Being able to work accurate, precise and very methodological
- Leads by example, and lives the company's value
- Think and act as owner (good business sense)
- Customer-oriented attitude towards clients is a must
- Able to communicate with topmanagers & shareholders
- Ability to cultivate an environment focused on customer satisfaction
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Ability to build productive working relationships across functional areas
- High level of integrity due to confidential nature of the business
- Flexible (timing & changes)
